From May 6 to May 27, 2024, a follow-up mission trip to the Philippines continued the efforts initiated in April 2024. Led by Rubin Hoffmann, this mission focused on advancing the construction of the baby house at the Village of Hope, where orphaned and abused children are provided with a safe and nurturing environment. The team worked diligently to further develop the new baby house, focusing on completing the building’s structure and ensuring that the spaces were equipped to meet the children's physical and emotional needs. Volunteers continued to build living spaces, play areas, and safe environments where children could thrive. In addition to the construction work, the team remained deeply engaged with the children, providing emotional support and care through one-on-one counseling, group activities, and fostering relationships that promote healing and trust. The outreach also extended to strengthening partnerships with local social services to ensure the children’s long-term care and well-being. The follow-up mission built upon the success of the previous trip, furthering the goal of providing not just a physical home for vulnerable children, but also an environment filled with love, emotional healing, and the support of Christ's teachings. This continuation of work at the Village of Hope was a vital step in ensuring that the children received both the immediate care they needed and a foundation for a brighter future.
