The mission trip to the Philippines in April 2024 was centered on building a new baby house and supporting orphaned and abused children. This mission focused on providing a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children who had been abandoned or abused. The volunteers worked tirelessly to construct the new baby house, ensuring that it would meet the needs of the children both physically and emotionally. This included building proper living spaces, play areas, and a safe environment that could provide warmth and care to the children who would be housed there. In addition to the construction efforts, the team also provided practical support for the orphaned children, such as donating clothing, hygiene products, and educational materials. Volunteers took time to engage with the children, offering emotional support through counseling, group activities, and one-on-one interactions. The team’s outreach also included working with local social services to ensure that children received the care they needed, both in the short and long term. This mission was an immense blessing to the children, as it not only provided them with a physical home but also with emotional healing and the love of Christ.
